Depending on the size of the files you chose to delete, it may take Windows a few minutes to get rid of them. Once the process is complete, check the Windows Update page again to see if it is still empty.
SFC or System File Checker scans your system files and checks for problems that may affect your computer, while DISM repairs corrupted files.
From the Start menu, type cmdand run the command prompt utility as administrator.
In the command prompt window that appears, type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealthand press Enter and the scan will begin.
Once the scan is complete, type sfc /scannowand press Enter again
This scan may take some time, depending on your system.
Once the process is complete, close the Command Prompt window and check the Windows Update page again.

Fix 5: Use Startup Repair
Startup Repair allows you to repair system files that may be causing the Windows Update page to appear blank.

Run SFC and DISM On the System page, click Recovery.
Click Restart now to the right of the Advanced startup option.
When your computer restarts and search engine optimization mails you see the Advanced Options screen, click Startup Repair. Windows will attempt to repair your computer, after which you can restart it and check the Windows Update page again.
Fix 6: Use System Restore
If you created a restore point earlier, you can use System Restore to return your PC to an earlier point when Windows Update worked perfectly.
